A deep interest in materiality lies at the center of our practice. WERK is especially interested in surfaces that age well. metals that develop patina, finishes that record touch, and forms that reveal more character over time. Rather than resisting wear, we embrace it as part of the life of an object.

We develop each design in-house and work closely with specialist makers and small-scale producers to bring limited series into being.
